Viacheslav Volodin and Talant Mamytov discussed the development of inter-parliamentary relations
Today, Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Viacheslav Volodin and Chairman of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic Talant Mamytov held a meeting, during which they discussed the development of inter-parliamentary interaction between the two countries.
“It is important for us that relations develop in different formats. Relying on long-term bonds of friendship, it is necessary to do everything to strengthen ties in the interests of our peoples and states, ”said Viacheslav Volodin.
He noted that relations between the Russian Federation and the Kyrgyz Republic are at a very high level, great results have been achieved. The countries are actively working in international organizations and are strategic partners.
“It is extremely important that the parliamentary dimension is also improved, and we find more and more new forms of cooperation. Our states will benefit from this, ”said the Chairman of the State Duma.
Viacheslav Volodin and Talant Mamytov spoke in favor of active interaction between the profile committees of the parliaments of the two countries.
According to the press service of the chamber, the meeting was held in Tehran, where the parliamentarians arrived to participate in the inauguration ceremony of the elected President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Seyed Ebrahim Raisi.
