Eurasian Business Forum Spotlights Uzbekistan’s Investment Opportunities

Dubai, UAE – On 19th October 2023, the Eurasian Business Forum – Spotlight into Uzbekistan, organized by the office of the Ministry of Investment, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan in the UAE, the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the United Arab Emirates, and the EurAsia Gulf Business Platform, took place at the Radisson RED Hotel Dubai Silicon Oasis.

The highly anticipated forum brought together over 100 businessmen from the Republic of Uzbekistan and the UAE, fostering collaborative discussions and opportunities for growth and cooperation between the two nations.

The event commenced with a satisfying breakfast and networking session, allowing attendees to establish meaningful connections and engage in insightful conversations.

The forum officially started with a warm welcome address by H.E. Abdulaziz Akkulov, Ambassador of Uzbekistan, who expressed his excitement for the increasing bilateral relations and commercial opportunities between Uzbekistan and the UAE.

Mikhail Ivanov, Board Member & Head of Central Asian Committee at EurAsia Gulf, also graced the stage with his welcome address.

Nawar Abdul Wahed, Chief Executive Officer of EurAsia Gulf, assumed the role of Master of Ceremonies, guiding the audience through the program.

Undoubtedly, the highlight of the forum was the keynote presentation by Murad Mirzayev, Director of the Investment Promotion Agency of Uzbekistan, who shed light on the numerous investment opportunities in Uzbekistan. Mirzayev’s comprehensive presentation captivated the audience and left them eager to explore the potential of this emerging market.

Further emphasizing the potential of investing in Uzbekistan, Georges Daccache, COO of E20 Investment Company, shared his success story and highlighted the benefits of making investments in the country.

Shahrukh Rakhimov, Director General of the Representative Office of the Ministry of Investment of Uzbekistan in the UAE, delivered a compelling presentation on potential investment projects, showcasing the diverse range of opportunities Uzbekistan has to offer.

The forum also welcomed Farrukh Iskandarov, Director of Solutions at Bizzmosis Group, who gave inspiriting presentation about investment opportunities in Uzbekistan, and Elena Zhukova, Sales Representative at Al Zorah City, who provided an exciting introduction to an upcoming project, leaving the audience intrigued and eager to learn more about the venture.

In addition, attendees had the opportunity to gain valuable insights from the panel discussion titled “Doing Business in Uzbekistan.” The discussion featured government authorities and business executives, including Murad Mirzayev, Director of the Investment Promotion Agency of Uzbekistan, Marianna Bulbuc, CEO & Managing Partner of Bizzmosis Group, Feruz Rakhmatullaev, Senior Investment Manager at the Office of the MIIT in the UAE, and Abo Kayali, Advisor – Tourism & International Relations at Unique Group. Henrik Winther, President of Tigrus Holding, served as the moderator for the panel.

Furthermore, Ms. Nafosathon Todjiboeva, Project-Producer and Editor-in-Chief of BRAND International Business Magazine, delivered an informative presentation.

Dr. Usama Al Malki, Chief Commercial Officer of EurAsia Gulf, delivered closing remarks.

Prominent UAE business leaders, including Mishal Kanoo, the Chairman of Kanoo Group, and Hasan Al Shaqsi and Ayman Merdas, partners of leading UAE law firm Global Advocacy, were among the distinguished attendees.
