UAE to cancel visas for Georgia
The United Arab Emirates has made a positive decision to introduce a visa-free regime for Georgian citizens. This was reported by the Embassy of Georgia in the UAE, News Georgia reports.
“Following the results of the negotiations, the authorities of the United Arab Emirates made a positive decision to establish a visa-free regime for the entry into the country of holders of ordinary Georgian passports,” the statement said.
Until recently, only holders of diplomatic and service passports could visit the UAE without a visa without a visa.
The embassy promises to publish the date of entry into force of the visa-free regime “after completion of the formalities.”
According to diplomats, this decision is another clear indicator of the positive dynamics in the development of bilateral relations between Georgia and the United Arab Emirates.
