Turkmen leader Serdar Berdimuhamedov to pay official visit to UAE

Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov will visit the UAE in the near future. The visit will be official.
The head of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry, Rashid Meredov, and the Minister of Energy and Infrastructure of the United Arab Emirates, Suhaylem Al-Mazrui, discussed the organization of the upcoming visit. The invitation to visit the UAE came from President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

During the talks, the officials also discussed the possibility of opening new transport and logistics routes and issues related to the promotion of projects in the gas chemical, financial and transport sectors in Turkmenistan with the participation of the UAE.

In addition, government members considered options for cooperation between Turkmenistan and the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA).
