The conference “Central and South Asia: regional interconnectedness. Challenges and Opportunities ”

More than 250 participants from more than 40 countries and international organizations take part in the conference. About 90 journalists arrived in Tashkent to cover the conference.

During the meeting, the address of the UN Secretary General, Antonio Guterres, the speech of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev was heard, speeches of the heads of foreign states and governments, foreign ministers, international financial organizations are envisaged.

During the plenary and breakout sessions, the forum participants will discuss the possibilities of promoting initiatives aimed at developing trade, economic, transport, communication and cultural and humanitarian cooperation in the context of further deepening regional connectivity.

The agenda also includes a comprehensive exchange of views and joint development of proposals for increasing cooperation in the areas of trade, investment, transport, energy and innovation, green technologies, expanding interaction in tourism, education, healthcare, science and culture.
