The agreement between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the UAE will allow to remove technical barriers
During the visit of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the United Arab Emirates, an agreement was signed that will remove technical barriers to trade and increase the export of domestic products, Kazinform reports with reference to the press service of the Committee for Technical Regulation and Metrology of the Ministry of Trade and Integration.
KazStandard KTRM MTI RK has signed an agreement with GulfTIC Certification, an enterprise in the field of product conformity assessment with the requirements of the Persian Gulf countries.
“This agreement will significantly speed up the procedure for inclusion in the register of suppliers of the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman; remove technical barriers to trade; increase the export of domestic products,” the report says.
More than 30 Kazakh producers export to the UAE, of which 9 are suppliers of food and agricultural products included in the official register.
Manufacturers will be able to obtain a halal certificate without leaving the country today.
In addition, during the visit of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the UAE, Kazakhstan received an official document on the accreditation of KazStandard from the UAE International Accreditation Center for certification of halal products.
