Sber became a partner of the global ecosystem Hub71 to promote startups in Russia and the UAE

Sberbank entered into a partnership agreement with the global ecosystem of Abu Dhabi Hub71 to support technology startups in Russia and the UAE, follows from Sberbank’s message.

“Sberbank signed a partnership agreement with Hub71, the global ecosystem of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Cooperation involves supporting technology start-ups, venture capital companies and investors in both Russia and the UAE to expand their opportunities to enter markets and develop innovative potential, ”the Russian company said in a statement.

It is noted that on the Russian side we are talking about startups-graduates of the Sber500 accelerator, which Sberbank conducts jointly with 500 Global. Startups will have access to the global technology ecosystem Hub71, where they can use the services of corporate and government partners, as well as programs to increase the commercial attractiveness of projects. In parallel, Hub71 clients will have access to the Sberbank startup community and various initiatives to facilitate penetration into the Russian market.

Sber and Hub71 intend to provide opportunities for cooperation of technology startups with large corporate partners in Russia and the UAE.

The Hub71 ecosystem helps innovative companies in a variety of industries to gain access to international markets, capital and a partner network with the support of the government of Abu Dhabi and investment firm Mubadala.
