Rosselkhoznadzor continues to promote the development of trade relations between Russia and the UAE

On September 12, 2022, Rosselkhoznadzor, together with the Ministry of Climate Change and the Environment of the UAE (MOCCAE) and with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation in the UAE, organized a training seminar for Russian companies interested in exporting livestock products to the Emirates, the RSHN press service reported.

Representatives of Russian businesses received instructions via videoconference on how to fill out applications on the official MOCCAE website for attestation of their companies. Representatives of the foreign authority spoke in detail about the procedure for filling out applications, gave the necessary explanations to facilitate the registration process and answered questions from livestock enterprises.

The online meeting was a continuation of the joint work of the competent departments of Russia and the UAE to strengthen bilateral trade.

Another important result of cooperation was the recent decision of the UAE Ministry of Climate Change and Environment to grant access to its market to 2 more companies for the slaughter of small and large cattle.

Currently, 14 enterprises for the production of cattle, small cattle and poultry meat from Russia have the right to export products to a foreign state.
