The Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan met with the General Director of the National Library and Archives of the UAE

The Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the United Arab Emirates M. Menilbekov met with the Director General of the National Library and Archives of the UAE Abdullah Majid Al Ali, Delovoy Kazakhstan reports.

During the meeting, issues of enhancing cooperation between the archives of the two states were discussed.

In particular, the interlocutor was informed about the Archive-2025 project being implemented by Kazakhstan, within the framework of which it is planned to sign relevant bilateral documents with foreign states.

In addition, during the meeting, the possibility of holding joint events within the framework of the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the UAE this year was discussed.

In particular, agreements were reached on organizing a joint round table with the participation of representatives of various spheres of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the UAE, publishing a special photo album using rare photographs and documents stored in the archives of the two countries, as well as opening a corner of Kazakh literature in the UAE National Library.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to further strengthen bilateral cooperation.
