Kazakhstan Pavilion opens at EXPO 2020 Dubai
DUBAI. KAZINFORM – On October 1, 2021, the official opening ceremony of the National Pavilion of the Republic of Kazakhstan at the EXPO-2020 World Exhibition in Dubai (UAE) was held, Kazinform reports with reference to the press service of QazExpoCongress NC JSC.
The pavilion opening ceremony was attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the United Arab Emirates Madiyar Menilbekov, President of the International Exhibitions Bureau Jai-Chul Choy, General Commissioners of the participating countries and the leadership of the EXPO-2020 Organizing Committee.
For the official delegation, a tour of the pavilion was held, which is a journey through the past, present and future of Kazakhstan, and also reveals the theme of the EXPO-2020 Dubai exhibition – “Uniting Minds, Creating the Future”. The representatives of the delegation were greatly impressed by the content of the pavilion, and in particular, the guests were impressed by the Pre-Show, Great Steppe and Main Show zones.
The Ruler of Dubai, Prime Minister, Vice President of the United Arab Emirates His Highness Mohammed Ibn Rashid Al Maktoum and Crown Prince of Dubai Hamdan Ibn Mohammed Al Maktoum, accompanied by EXPO 2020 Director General Her Excellency Rim Al Hashimi, were among the first to visit the Kazakhstan pavilion at EXPO-2020. The high delegation visited only four pavilions, including the National Pavilion of the UAE, as well as the pavilions of the United States and China.
As part of the opening ceremony of the pavilion, visitors were treated to baursaks and apples brought from Kazakhstan. It should be noted that the National Pavilion of Kazakhstan became one of the most visited on the opening day of the exhibition. A queue of people lined up at the pavilion wishing to get acquainted with the history, culture, tourism and investment potential of Kazakhstan.
The first visitors to the pavilion were a young married couple from Dubai Kiara Hildebrand and Sami Sayeh. According to them, the atmosphere of the pavilion fascinates from the first minute and awakens the desire to visit Kazakhstan and see its beauty with our own eyes.
