Kazakhstan develops cooperation with the UAE in the field of agriculture
On February 25, the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yerbol Karashukeev met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Arab Emirates to the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mr. Mohamed Said Mohamed Alariki, Svetich news agency reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of bilateral cooperation, the development of a modern agro-industrial complex, as well as issues related to the supply of Kazakh products to the UAE.
Welcoming the ambassador, the head of the department informed in detail about the ongoing agricultural policy, and also shared the plans and tasks facing the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In turn, the ambassador thanked for the meeting and detailed information on the state and prospects for the development of the agro-industrial complex, noting that bilateral cooperation has been established between the countries.
Also during the meeting, interest was expressed in the supply of agricultural products, assistance in working out issues for the implementation of joint investment projects with domestic agricultural producers.
At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to maintain the achieved high level of interaction, stressed the importance of strengthening direct contacts.
