Global Advocacy & Legal Counsel Announces their 2023 New & Emerging Leaders

A leading Middle Eastern law firm, Global Advocacy and Legal Counsel established in 2002, with offices in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Muscat, Amman, and Ras Al Khaimah has promoted two Partners, two Legal Directors, and one Senior Associate.

​1. Patric McGonigal, Partner – With over 25 years of experience, Patric is a dual qualified barrister (Ireland, non-practicing) and solicitor (England & Wales). He specializes in various areas such as commercial law, international trade, energy, construction & infrastructure, anti-bribery & corruption, shipping & insurance disputes. Having practiced in both London and major arbitral jurisdictions in Asia and the UAE, Patric brings valuable multi-jurisdictional and multi-cultural expertise to our firm.
​2.​ Hana Al Khatib, Partner – With more than 13 years of experience, Hana’s focus lies in litigation, arbitration, and general advisory services. She has an impressive track record in employment, commercial agencies, and commercial matters, successfully guiding clients through various civil and commercial litigation cases. Hana has also been involved in several high-profile, high-value cases in the UAE.
​3. Abdelsalam Awad, Legal Director – With a remarkable experience of over 27 years in civil and commercial litigation, Abdelsalam holds expertise in handling complex disputes in these areas. He is known for his meticulous attention to detail and a focused approach that has earned him praise from clients. Abdelsalam remains committed to providing comprehensive legal counsel and support to his clients.
​4.​ Amjad Aljandali, Legal Director – Amjad brings more than 26 years of legal experience to the table, having practiced law for 9 years in the UAE and 17 years in Jordan. His expertise encompasses various legal domains, with special emphasis on litigation and arbitration. Amjad has a proven track record of recognizing and annulling arbitration awards before onshore courts.
5. Ayman Ibrahim, Senior Associate – Ayman has over 16 years of experience. He has outstanding experience in Civil & commercial Law, Intellectual Property Rights Laws, labour law and Criminal Law. He is praised by his client for his commitment and innovative problem-solving approach.
