Export of goods from Dagestan to the UAE in 2021 increased by 16 times

Export of goods from Dagestan to the United Arab Emirates in 2021 amounted to $811,000. Currently, the region supplies honey, mineral water, mustard and nuts to the country, TASS was told in the press service of the Regional Export Support Center.

“In 2020, exports between the UAE and the republic amounted to $50,000, and by the end of 2021, $811,000. And there are plans to double these figures in 2022,” the press service of the head of the Export Support Center of the Republic of Dagestan Ruslan Abaskuliev quotes.

It is noted that on Saturday a delegation from the UAE arrived in Dagestan. The Arab partners were told about the design and modeling of buildings and hotels, small-sized glampings and holiday houses, furniture, as well as transport services in the region.

“We supply honey, mineral water, mustard, some types of nuts. I will add that our export-oriented enterprises are ready to consider all possible options for cooperation,” Abaskuliev assured.

The press service noted that the arriving members of the foreign delegation expressed their readiness to discuss options for further purchases.
