DUBAI HOSTED BREST REGION DAY

Brest Region organized a Brest Region day event on 24th January 2022 in the Belarus Expo 2020 Pavilion with the backing of EurAsia Gulf.

Dmitry Gorodetsky, Deputy Chairman of the Brest Regional Executive Committee, led the Brest Region delegation. On the Belarusian side, the event was attended by representatives of leading manufacturers of food, meat and dairy products, household chemicals, and batteries, as well as representatives of the Free Economic Zone “Brest”, CJSC “Brest Scientific-Technological Park”, and SEP “Belovezhskaya Pushcha National Park”.

Throughout the event, the Belarusian team presented on the region’s investment, trade, and economic potential, as well as tourism opportunities, innovative initiatives, and other areas of cooperation. Additionally, bilateral conversations were undertaken between representatives of Belarusian firms and the UAE and other nations’ business communities. A tasting of Belarusian cuisine products was held at the occasion.

Several export contracts were made during the Brest Region Day with companies from the UAE, China, Jordan, Uzbekistan, Nigeria, and Albania, among others.

It’s worth noting that EurAsia Gulf is the exclusive partner of the United Arab Emirates’ and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s National Agency for Investment and Privatization, and promoting the Brest Region is one of EurAsia Gulf’s regional priorities.
