Businessmen from Kyrgyzstan and UAE bought Turkmen cotton yarn

On Monday and Tuesday at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (GTSBT) 5 deals were concluded for the supply of cotton yarn abroad.

On Monday, businessmen from the UAE and Kyrgyzstan signed 4 deals for the supply of various types of cotton yarn produced at the enterprises of the Ministry of Textiles of Turkmenistan for $471.5 thousand and 1.5 million Turkmen manats. This was reported in a press release from the GTSBT.

On Tuesday, a Kyrgyz entrepreneur purchased 80,000 kg of cotton yarn for $192,000 ($2.4 per kg).

Last week, the total amount of transactions at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan exceeded 13 million 576 thousand US dollars.
