“Bishkek City” and monorail may be built by a company from the UAE
A company from the United Arab Emirates expressed its readiness to participate in the implementation of several projects of the Bishkek City Hall. This was reported by the press service of the municipality.
From June 3 to 6, Mayor Emilbek Abdykadyrov made a working trip to the Emirates, held talks with the heads of several companies and presented them with investment projects:
creation of the Bishkek City quarter;
removal of the railway outside the city;
construction of a plant for the processing of solid waste and medical waste;
creation of a monorail transport system in Bishkek;
improvement of the Karagacheva grove, the rivers Ala-Archa, Alamedin, improvement of the boulevard along Ch. Aitmatov avenue – st. Masalieva and others;
reconstruction of CHPP-2.
The Arab side expressed its readiness to participate and proposed several options: investment, public-private partnership, cooperation and grant assistance.
In addition, an agreement was reached that the Royal group of technologies, which implemented Smart City projects in Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Mexico, will audit the Smart City system in Bishkek and launch separate pilot projects.
The American company ReMining Corporation, which builds plants using environmentally friendly technologies, will audit and prepare a commercial proposal for the construction of such a plant in Bishkek.
