Belarus and Russia are interested in strengthening cooperation in the field of microelectronics. This was discussed at a meeting between Deputy Minister of Industry of Belarus Andrei Buinevich and Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia Vasily Shpak, BelTA informs with reference to the website of the Ministry of Industry.

“The meeting was another step towards strengthening cooperation between the two countries in the field of microelectronics. The parties discussed the development of cooperation in high-tech industries: microelectronics and the production of special technological equipment,” the statement said.
As noted in the department, the products of the domestic enterprises “Integral” and “Planar” meet the requirements of the Russian consumer. These production associations are capable of developing and producing electronic components for special purposes, as well as special technological equipment for their production.

JSC Planar successfully cooperates with a number of Russian partners, such as NRU MIET, JSC ZITC, NIIIS named after Yu.E. Sedakov and other high-tech organizations. Products of JSC Integral are supplied to 28 countries of the world, but the largest its consumer is the Russian Federation. The eastern neighbor accounts for 80% of the export of products manufactured by the enterprise, “the ministry said.
