Azerbaijan and UAE can create cooperation platforms

Orkhan Mammadov, Chairman of the Board of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA) under the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan, met in Dubai with the State Minister for Entrepreneurship and SMEs of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ahmed Belhul Al Falasi.

Report informs that at the meeting it was emphasized that Azerbaijan and the UAE attach great importance to the development of the SME sector, discussed the support mechanisms used in this area and the work done.

At the meeting, an exchange of views took place on the possibilities of expanding cooperation between business entities, the prospects for the implementation of joint events between KOBIA and the Ministry, business opportunities of Azerbaijan, including in the territories liberated from occupation, were noted. The meeting also discussed the creation of cooperation platforms that will unite the business people of both countries around them.
